SEARCH ENGINES

Which Search Engines Support IndexNow in 2026?

IndexNow is supported by three major search engines as of 2026. One key advantage: submitting to the universal endpoint (api.indexnow.org) notifies all participating engines simultaneously.

Supported Engines

Microsoft Bing

Supported~3% global, ~6% US desktop

Co-creator of the protocol. Fastest indexing times (1–4 hours typical). Full Bing Webmaster Tools integration with submission dashboard.

Endpoint: https://api.indexnow.org/indexnow or https://www.bing.com/indexnow

Yandex

Supported~2% global, ~60% Russia

Co-creator of the protocol. Primary coverage benefit is the Russian, Turkish, and CIS search markets. Indexing speed: 4–24 hours typical.

Endpoint: https://api.indexnow.org/indexnow or https://yandex.com/indexnow

Naver

SupportedDominant in South Korea

Joined the IndexNow coalition in 2022. Particularly valuable for publishers targeting Korean-language audiences. Uses the universal api.indexnow.org endpoint.

Endpoint: https://api.indexnow.org/indexnow

Not (Yet) Supported

Google

Not supported~92% global

Google has not adopted IndexNow. They operate their own Search Console URL Inspection tool and Indexing API (limited to job postings and live streams). Google has stated they are "monitoring" IndexNow adoption but have made no commitment to support it.

DuckDuckGo

Not supported~2% global

DuckDuckGo primarily uses Bing's index for web results. Because Bing supports IndexNow, submitting to Bing indirectly affects DuckDuckGo results though DuckDuckGo itself has not independently implemented the protocol.

Yahoo

Not supported~1% global

Yahoo Search results are powered by Bing. IndexNow submissions to Bing are reflected in Yahoo results. Yahoo has not separately announced IndexNow support.

Baidu

Not supportedDominant in China

Baidu has not announced IndexNow support. For Chinese search visibility, Baidu's own ActivePush API (百度链接提交) serves a similar function.

The Universal Endpoint Advantage

One of IndexNow's smartest design decisions is the universal endpoint. Submitting to api.indexnow.org automatically distributes your submission to all search engines that participate in the protocol currently Bing, Yandex, and Naver.

This means a single API call covers three search engines across North America, Europe, Russia/CIS, and South Korea. You don't need separate accounts or separate submissions for each engine.
